4th Annual MIND GAMES Fundraiser Invites Trivia Buffs to Test Their Brain Power for Children’s Mental Health

Mind Games 2016

Do you know what TV family lives at 1313 Mockingbird Lane? Or which human organ was the first to be successfully transplanted? Or realize that one in five Ontario children will experience a mental health issue before the age of 18?

Join other brainiacs on February 18, 2016, for the 4th annual MIND GAMES to test your trivia knowledge and help raise funds for the Children’s Health Foundation in support of London’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care Program.

“As the stigma around mental health has reduced, we’re seeing huge volumes of people seeking help,” says Dr. Javeed Sukhera, a psychiatrist with Child and Adolescent Inpatient/Emergency Services at London’s Children’s Hospital. “But our system is just not funded to meet the need.” With increased funding, says Dr. Sukhera, children could be treated before they’re in crisis, wait timescould be reduced, and there could be increased research into innovative approaches to treatment.

Presented by Foster Townsend Graham & Associates and hosted by beloved media personality Nick Paparella, Mind Games features friendly competition, delicious food created by Edgar + Joe’s chef Michael Topham, great prizes (iPad minis to the winning team!) and the chance to help support a great cause.
